Thank you for willing to be a guest for the Your Third Voice Podcast. Below are some frequently asked questions. Please let me know at email@example.com if there is anything missing/additional you’d like to know.
Where will the interview be conducted?
Interviews are conducted at the Kathleen Syme Library & Community Centre, 251 Faraday St, Carlton, https://goo.gl/maps/Ec9QSAZsYE62. Upon arrival, give me a call and I will collect you from the library information desk.
If you cannot make it to this location for any reason, please let me know.
If you are not based in Melbourne, you will need a very quiet room and access to a computer, a headset with microphone and a strong Internet connection. Please ensure you’ve tested all of your equipment before your scheduled interview. I will use Zoom meeting to record with the link found in your calendar invitation.
Can you please send me the questions before the interview?
Nope. I typically don’t prepare interview questions until few days before so that my research is fresh in my mind. That said, we do go over the questions while we’re testing the microphone audio set up so you’ll know. I don’t like to surprise anyone, you will have a chance to let me know what you don’t want to talk about – if there’s anything specific tell me now. Rest assured, my interviews are relaxed, just like having a conversation with a good friend.
But, how will I know what we’ll talk about? I would like to be prepared.
We will talk about whatever it is that you’d like to focus on, so please let me know what that is. There is usually a bit about you, your background, what you’re doing now and general chit chat that loans itself to being educational and inspirational- which is the theme of the podcast. I want to present you in the best possible way. This podcast is here to support your awesomeness.
Do you require a biography or other information about me?
It would be great if you could help me with my research by sending me your website and social media profile links. Rest assured, I will Google-stalk you anyway. If there are any questions before or after the interview, I’ll clarify at the time. If you’re launching a book or program, keep in mind the question below about publication timing. I will need a copy of your product so I can review it and know what you’re doing. All content shared with me will be kept under the strictest confidentiality.
Do you need images of me?
Yes. It would be great to get a head shot (minimum 800x800px) and one of you in action on whatever you’re working on (landscape; minimum 1500x782px). I will also take a photo with me on the day of the interview so please dress professionally.
Can you send me stats on your podcast reach?
Nope. We’re too young. When we’re disgustingly popular I’ll be happy to give my guests a range.
Who is your target market?
Typically whoever finds it and streams/ downloads it. That said, the podcast is specifically aimed to support my results coaching clients and target market of professionals aged 35+ who are dissatisfied with the direction their life is heading. This podcast is directly affiliated with Your Inner Mentor Results Coaching because I want to educate and inspire my clients to achieve more with their lives.
Can I listen to the interview before it’s published?
Typically no. Unless there’s a stupidly good reason for it, it’s logistically too difficult to do. That said, I hold my services and what I deliver to the highest standard. If I believe it won’t be a good enough quality or represent you well enough we’ll chat about it and together decide what to do. The last thing I want to do is tarnish your reputation or my own.
When will you publish my interview?
We record a few months ahead of the publishing date so we’re always ahead, this allows time for me to manage the requirements of this business, my coaching business and still be a rockstar mum and wife. We will send you a calendar invitation from the Your Third Voice calendar to let you know when you’re interview will go live on http://www.yourthirdvoice.us
Do you have official terms & conditions I should be aware of?
